The rules for using Neia safely

These terms explain Neia's limits, including health, AI, your account, free use, data and support. By using the app, you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

This is an English translation of the Portuguese terms. If the two differ, the Portuguese version prevails.

Neia does not replace health professionals

Neia is an informational wellbeing and women's health app. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat illness, it does not confirm pregnancy, it does not guarantee fertility and it must not be used as a method of contraception. Before making medical decisions, talk to a qualified health professional.

Your account and accurate information

For Neia to work well, you should give truthful information and keep your data up to date. Cycle, period, ovulation and fertile window predictions depend on the quality and consistency of your entries.

Age and parent or guardian

Neia is available from age 13. Between ages 13 and 15, the app asks for confirmation from a parent or guardian before unlocking health entries, predictions and Neia AI. The person named must be authorised to represent the user. This product safeguard does not replace additional rules that may apply in the user's country.

Health data and privacy

Your entries may include sensitive data, such as your period, symptoms, fertility, sexual activity, mood, sleep and notes. How that data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy. Don't sell, publish or send another person's data without their permission.

Neia AI

Neia AI uses your entries and recent context to give educational explanations. It can be wrong, incomplete or miss clinical factors. Never use an AI answer as the only basis for decisions about health, pregnancy, contraception, medication or medical emergencies.

Free version and usage limits

Neia is currently free and includes 100 Neia AI messages a month. No subscriptions or purchases are available at this stage. The app shows how many messages you have left; there are also rate limits to protect the service from abuse. Logging, viewing your data and your data rights stay available when you reach the message limit.

Any future paid offer will be presented separately, with the price, the conditions and an explicit choice before any purchase. Privacy features, data export, account deletion and support do not depend on payment.

Acceptable use

Don't use Neia to harass, harm, monitor or identify another person.
Don't try to get around security, access other accounts' data or abuse the API.
Don't reverse engineer, scrape at scale or load test without permission.
Don't post content that is illegal, abusive, discriminatory or that infringes the rights of others.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Neia fast and available, but the app may have interruptions, maintenance, errors, network limitations or changes to features. We may update the app, these terms and connected services when necessary.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Neia is not responsible for medical decisions, indirect losses, data loss caused by misuse, temporary unavailability or exclusive reliance on predictions or AI. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded.

Closing and deleting your account

You can ask for your account to be deleted in the app or through support. We may suspend or limit accounts in cases of abuse, security risk, fraud, breach of these terms or legal obligation.
